As a bright student with dreams of entering the medical field, my goal was to heal people physically and guide them from pain to relief. However, at a critical juncture in my life at just 18, I made a wrong choice that plunged me into Melancholy and Depression.
An undeniably compelling marriage proposal, one that even my parents couldn't refuse, altered my trajectory dramatically. Despite my initial dreams, I found myself bending over backward in the early years of my marriage, trying to please everyone and fit into a mold that wasn't mine.
Over time, I lost sight of who I was. I felt stuck and disconnected, unable to reconcile the person I had become with the one I had envisioned. The pain was palpable, leaving me feeling alive yet emotionally numb.
Yearning for change, I turned to Fashion Design, also pursued an MBA Degree. Starting with a small boutique in my home, I eventually expanded to a thriving Wholesale and Retail Unit, even opening a Fashion Design Institute. Financially secure yet emotionally adrift, I was merely escaping the realities of my life.
My state of mind was one of confusion, despair, and feeling lost. I struggled with crucial life decisions, unsure of my path, and overwhelmed by emotional pain. I wish I could redo my life choices: CHOOSING Marriage and Career, truly knowing a life partner before committing, pursuing Fashion as a Career, understanding the impact of starting and ending my financial support, and many other pivotal decisions.
